When we would say that mom was the meanest mom EVER, (or something similar) she would respond "no but I'm in the running for the top 10 and if you keep at it I'll probably make it." or something simmilar :) It was quite maddening at the time but pretty clever. Fay saying that probably means that you are doing things right :)
I agree with Emily. I remember Mom dressing up as "The Meanest Mom" for Halloween, or at least threatening to do so. I actually didn't get it until I got older :-)
